I love it when my menu falls in place.
Well, despite my loathing for cooking, I do rise to the occasion, at times.
This morning, I decided to cook some homemade green beans, and bake two turkey breasts. I placed the turkey in a baking dish, poured some turkey gravy (from a mix) over the meat, and then added some spices. After entering it into the oven Olympics, I put the green beans in a large pan, added a can of Red Gold diced tomatoes with green chiles, a container of beef broth, and spices.
Then, I remembered a student’s grandmother had sent a large bag of homemade noodles.
I deboned the turkey breasts after they had baked, mixed them in with the noodles, made some mashed potatoes….
