I can already feel the excitement and tension of today’s marathon bearing down upon me. It will be a long day.
Last evening, I was a guest of long-time friends, Lori & Frank Osowski, to see their college senior daughter and my former student, Marisha, in La Comedia dinner theatre’s DO PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP?. It was such a great time being with this family, again, and seeing a show I did not know.
This morning, promptly at 7:00 AM, I joined the family Zomm session with Joshua, David, Ann, and Phil, mostly discussing tomorrow’s funeral for Queen Elizabeth and other surrounding topics. What a production this has been and tomorrow will be a showcase of Britain’s finest traditions coupled with new ones.
In a short while, I will be off to The Park for today’s spectacular event, Concours d’Elegance. It’s a fancy car show. It’s a terribly popular event and draws in thousands of Guests.
A few hours after leaving The Park I will commence teaching until 11:30 PM. Monday morning will be spent Zooming with Joshua, David, Anne, and Phil to watch the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. I am hoping to mow the yard in the late part of the morning but I am not certain how long the funeral events will take.
And, I must be off to get ready for my five hours in The Park. Make it a great day!
