MAKE IT A GREAT DAY: Tuesday is a cool day… a shiver kind of cool

I cannot believe I am sitting on my deck in 56-degree temperatures, eating breakfast, shirtless, and trying to cram in many things before teaching.

But, Tuesdays are the longest days for teaching and I won’t see the deck from 9:00 AM until long past 11:00 PM. The next time I will be outside will be to take the trash dumpsters to the curb for tomorrow’s collection.

Last night’s sleep was pitiful at best and I was awake at 4:00 AM. I will probably be pissing coffee until Friday, just from today.

This is a full week. Somehow, I need to figure out how to get the backyard mowed. We had some rain showers through the night but I don’t know how wet the grass would be around Noon during my lunch break.

On with the day. Thirty minutes until teaching begins and it’s time to head inside to shower and hit the desk for my Zoom-athon! I hate leaving the singing birds, fresh blue sky, clanging wind chimes, swishing traffic with a few mad honks, and watching the dogs enjoy our time together.

Make it a great day!
