I was amused at how quickly Bailey and Harrigan acquired the art of “the sniff.” It did not take them long, at all.
Now, at 12 weeks old, they are professional sniffers. In fact, they seem to enjoy sniffing more than Chief. At least they stop more frequently than Chief to see who’s been in their neighborhood.
At first I believed Navi and Chief, as puppies, learned their dog habits from Flyer, and that Harrigan and Bailey were learning theirs from Chief. However, it hit me! There were no older dogs around from whom Flyer could learn her dog habits. She figured them out.
The girls have definitely gotten bigger.
Their personalities are becoming more defined.
For several weeks, they’ve learned The Haasienda’s system, and routine. They follow it, nicely.
They still:
- are very cute and adorable
- love to snuggle
- are glued to me
- are glued to Chief
- are glued to students and families and friends, and
- are tremendous bright spots in the home
I love how they feel the need to sniff anyone who walks into the house, especially those who have pets!
They know!
