My typical evening for teaching 14 students was whittled down to two students due to dress and technical rehearsals, and end of the year school concerts. Dayton Live offered comp tickets to house managers for a presentation by Alize Carrere, and with my studio manager’s help rescheduling my two remaining students who were spread out with a four hour gap between, I took advantage of the ticket offer.

After a relaxed dinner at my favorite, secluded Chinese buffet haunt, I moved h to The Victoria Theatre to watch my first National Geographic LIVE presentation.

Just unbelievable.

I’m the 70 minutes I attended, I was spellbound by the information shared about Global Warming and the new term of “Adaptation.” I applaud the folks around the world who are addressing and combating the effects of Global Warming. I’m in awe of these heroes.
