MAKE IT A GREAT DAY: On the deck

This beautiful day, sunny, clear blue sky, and 67 degrees has The Haasienda perched on the deck to savor every moment.

The two Seniors and Bailey are next to me in their sphinx pose and Deeds is running all over the backyard with Harrigan in tow. He prances and hops about while you can see the sophisticated Harrigan urge him to act nine years old.

The wind has been incredibly strong with forceful gusts these past twenty-four hours. This morning, my dumpster, at the curb for pickup, was blown over (or knocked over) and a broken plastic lawn chair I’d set out was in Mama Kay’s front yard.

I need to do some things in my study but I don’t want to leave the deck. I guess I could bring research out but the sun is so bright I can barely read the screen on my phone.

I am torn over which one of two events to attend this evening. The University of Dayton Symphony Orchestra has a concert on campus and Kettering Fairmont High School’s jazz program has a concert. I’d love to see both but will need to select one venue.

Make it a great day!
