MAKE IT A GREAT DAY: Monday, bright & beautiful

A beautiful day has joined us, complete with sunshine and 45 degrees.  I love it!

Deeds was a hit with the Sunday students, both in-person lessons and Zoom lessons. Deeds loved the attention and was especially interested in the singing and acting. It was adorable watching him investigate the monologues and singing.

Chief and Erma are old pooches and they do not seem phased by the little furball that landed in The Haasienda last Friday. Bailey and Harrigan, who are each extremely possessive of me and jealous, will growl, but make no effort to partake in Deeds’ antics and desire to play. During the night, Deeds crawled from beneath the blankets and cuddled next to Harrigan. I kept reassuring her that he liked his big sister and that she was being a good girl. Harry tolerated the snuggles as did Bailey a little later.

When I ask the group, “Do we need to go potty?” they all gather excitedly. Deeds dances in and around the bigger kids, still not certain what is going on. It is cute to watch him try to fit in. I believe as he increases in size, he will officially be one of the pack. One day, he will be leading it.

It is nearing time to teach. We have new musicals getting underway, auditions for musicals, prepping solo material for various high school ensembles, and college auditions. I love the busyness of the studio.

Make it a great day!
