MAKE IT A GREAT DAY: Monday is off and running

It was just the kind of Father’s Day I would have wished for myself: a quiet day filled with reading, documentaries, four devoted pooches, and finally, teaching until late into the evening.

Yesterday’s heat and humidity bowed out and this morning’s less hot, less humid, and more breezy weather is delightful! The wind seems to be blowing from all directions, making little effort toward patterns. I do love blustery days.

The grass’ height in the backyard is already making me anxious. I mowed it this past Friday and it looks as though it’s already been one week. We had a tremendous amount of rain to encourage the enormous leap in growth.

Now, when can I squeeze in 20 minutes to cut the back yard’s lawn?

I do love the upcoming forecast for this week. Fairly mild and fewer chances for anticipated rain.

That will need to wait. It’s 45 minutes until teaching time.

Make it a great day!
