It’s nearing 10:45 PM on this slightly humid Saturday night and the breeze offsets the mugginess.
The day was semi-busy but I would refer to it as productive.
Instacart delivered groceries from Kroger and Meijer’s. Unpacked and put away.
The new waste collection delivered two dumpsters throughout the neighborhood. While taking Mama Kay’s dumpsters back to her garage area, I snapped some photos of her flowers.
The rest of the day was spent reading, watching documentaries, napping here and there, and planning out the week.
By 9:30 PM the fireworks were underway, sending all four dogs into the house. Bailey and Harrigan have rejoined me on the deck but the two seniors are hunkered down in my study.
I ordered my first pizza from Cassano’s Pizza King and it should arrive shortly. I saw a brief documentary on their business and thought I’d finally give them a try after living in Dayton for almost thirty years.
The dogs were great companions, today, and pretty low key.
Here’s to a goodnight’s sleep and a bright tomorrow.
