MY DAY: Grateful for cold-weather

I know the title probably sounds bizarre to many of my friends here in the Midwest, especially when the thermometer reads 8°.

While I am not overly fond of cold weather, I cannot dismiss it entirely. In fact, I am grateful for the cold weather. It encourages me to appreciate the warmer weather a good deal more.

I am grateful I am healthy, and capable of getting outside to enjoy any kind of weather. There are so many who are housebound, and suffer such great infirmities that they cannot move about their own homes with ease, let alone the outside.

I will take any kind of weather as long as I am physically capable of doing so. Plus, I love variety and living here in Ohio offers me a tremendous variety of weather.
