MAKE IT A GREAT DAY: A relaxing Saturday that will get busy

It’s a beautiful warm day, but it is obvious the enthusiastically colored summer season has been banished by the earth tones insignia of autumn. Regardless of the season, I will maintain my artist Bob Ross attitude in welcoming them all.

It’s a bit muggy, but I have managed to accomplish a number of things around the house. The kitchen is cleaned up, ready for me to push the button on the dishwasher. The laundry is waiting to be taken to the basement for washing. I still need to tidy up the bathroom and sweep the carpets and rugs.

I sat down to lunch with cabbage, sausage, and spiced tomato soup, along with three hard-boiled eggs. I rose from my desk, where I am dining, to grab my tea, and returned to the one remaining hard-boiled egg half eaten. Five dogs refused to admit who bit into it, so I gave it to Chief who is the one who physically cannot jump up to retrieve items. Erma probably would not, but Harrigan was the pooch most likely to do so.

I would love to attend to some yard work, however, in an hour I need to prep for house management duties at The Schuster Center.

The leaves above the deck are exchanging their colors. Farewell, September 2023!

Make it a great day!
