Friday was a relaxing, productive day, spent entirely at home. It was a nice dose of perfection in so many ways. The FabFive seemed to appreciate it, as well.
I was in bed by 10:30 AM, and slept nicely, only rising for one bathroom break. Colonel Deeds always loves to stretch himself out in spooning fashion when I lay on either my right or left sides. Well, I was on my stomach, and he could not decide how to make this work for his familiar positioning. Finally, he settled but stretched out across my back. He was heavy but it gave me an opportunity to exercise my breath control that I demonstrate and preach with every voice lesson.
This morning, I shall head uptown to the Dayton Metro Library for an author and writer’s symposium. I have looked forward to this for several weeks. My lunch and some snacks are prepped and ready to go. Two of my favorite local authors, Christina Consolino and Katrina Kittle, will be presenting.
I should return home by 5:15 PM where I will enjoy more pooch time and hopefully incorporate new ideas and methods into my writing.
Make it a great day!
