MAKE IT A GREAT DAY: Toward the end

Ten years ago, today, Mother arrived from Indiana to spend some time with her favorite furry gal, Flyer, as she was nearing the end. In all, 75+ individuals would come to bid farewell to this incredible dog. Two former students who’d never met while growing up in Dayton, discovered their connection to me and Flyer via Facebook reports. They met up and drove down from Bowling Green State University, together. They’ve been best friends ever since.

Chief never left Flyer’s side.

The day is nice but very overcast.

Col. Deeds has snuggled with me as my body unwinds from the tension of the recent days of rain. He’s quite the comforter.

There’s very little to report; just an average day.

Make it a great day.
